Additional Qualifications
Ontario Certified Teachers are expected to pursue ongoing professional learning throughout their careers. Additional Basic Qualifications and Additional Qualifications are courses that are developed by teachers for this purpose.

Professional Standards
The College developed the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession and the Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession to articulate a collective vision for the teaching profession in Ontario.
We also regularly provide Professional Advisories to Ontario Certified Teachers. Professional Advisories provide advice on a wide range of topics that are relevant to modern learning environments, including student safety maintaining professional boundaries in the classroom and online.
