Memorandums
The College is responsible for the accreditation of teaching programs throughout the province. Accreditation is granted to education programs that meet or exceed the requirements outlined in Regulation 347/02 (Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs).
We also review and approve hundreds of Additional Qualification (AQ) courses for teachers who want to add to their professional knowledge.
This section allows teacher education providers to manage accreditation applications and report qualifications that teachers have completed.
Manage accreditation
Applications for the accreditation of AQ courses and programs are submitted to the College using our Accreditation Information Management System (AIMS).
Each provider is given a unique password to access the system. Through AIMS, you can:
- submit an application
- manage and monitor your applications
- renew an application.
Reporting qualifications through Faculty Plus
Are you a faculty of education at a university that provides a teacher education program?
Use Faculty Plus to submit data about new graduates, Additional Basic Qualifications and AQs to the College. You can upload information, check your submission history or update your profile.
Reports must be sent immediately following the successful completion of the course or program.
