Application for General Accreditation
Consecutive and multi-session consecutive programs of professional education for persons of First Nation, Métis or Inuit ancestry with areas of study in the Primary/Junior divisions, leading to a Bachelor of Education degree or a Certificate in Indigenous Teacher Education [community-based]
Decision of the Accreditation Committee
For the aforementioned reasons set out by requirement, the following programs offered by the Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa are found to fully satisfy the requirements of Regulation 347/02, Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs:
- Consecutive and multi-session consecutive programs of professional education for persons of First Nation, Métis or Inuit ancestry with areas of study in the Primary/Junior divisions, leading to a Bachelor of Education degree or a Certificate in Indigenous Teacher Education [community-based]
General accreditation is granted to these programs for a period of seven years until August 19, 2028 or for an amended period of time that is in accordance with Section 15 of Regulation 347/02, Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs.
