Changes to College Council

At the College Council meeting on December 12, 2024, it was announced that Diana Miles will be stepping down from her role as Chair of Council, effective December 31, 2024. While Diana will be concluding her tenure as Chair, she intends to remain a member of Council.

Diana has served as the Chair of Council since February 1, 2022, and during her term, she has been a steadfast advocate for student well-being and a strong supporter of transformative change. She clearly demonstrated the effectiveness and efficiency of a governance model balanced equally between members of the profession and members of the public while she guided Council through significant milestones, including implementation of the College’s Strategic Plan and navigating major legislative changes, most significantly those introduced by
