4. Business

4.1 Proposed amendment to the Ontario College of Teachers Act / Loi sur l’Ordre des enseignantes et des enseignants de l’Ontario

The Deputy Registrar spoke to the proposed amendment to the French version of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, Loi sur l’Ordre des enseignantes et des enseignants de l’Ontario and explained the reason for the proposed amendment.

It was moved by Rosemary Fontaine, seconded by Annilee Jarvis, and

CARRIED,

That Council request the Minister to amend the French version of the Ontario College of Teachers Act, Loi sur l’Ordre des enseignantes et des enseignants de l’Ontario by substituting the term “registraire” for the term “registrateur” throughout the Act.
