Welcome to the Ontario College of Teachers web site for internationally educated teachers.
To teach in a publicly funded school in Ontario, you must register with the College, which issues your initial licence to teach when you meet the requirements. This applies to anyone who received teacher training outside Ontario.
Please download a copy of the Registration Guide for Teachers Educated Outside Ontario (316 KB), which contains the application form. This guide sets out all requirements in detail.
