Pre-service

Accreditation panels review each new teacher education program proposed in Ontario. Accredited programs are reviewed on a regular cycle to ensure that they continue to meet required standards. Members of the public are invited to make submissions related to the quality of initial (pre-service) teacher education programs.

The College is responsible for accrediting all courses/programs in the schedules of the Teachers’ Qualifications.

Additional Qualification courses/programs also include Principal’s Qualifications and the Supervisory Officer’s Qualification.
