  • Child care info: Find information and resources in over 20 languages about child care options in Ontario. The site also includes a tip sheet with common questions to ask a child care provider. The College works closely with the College of Early Childhood Educators, who is responsible for regulating Early Childhood Educators, some of whom work in licensed child care centres.

  • Creating healthy schools: Ryan’s Law, 2015, will require all school boards to have an asthma policy in place to support students with asthma. Find out more here.

  • Supporting public education: The Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations, an independent voice of parents, offers information about the public school system in several of the dominant languages found in schools.

  • There’s an app for that: From an app that can bring the best of the National Film Board’s short educational documentaries and animated movies to your tablet or smartphone to one that can help your child conjugate French verbs, check out these educational apps. Looking for apps in English and French? Read reviews of bilingual apps created for parents and teachers.

  • Find a Teacher: The College’s online public registry allows you to see whether a teacher is in good standing with the College. Visit oct.ca.
