Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a degree to my Certificate of Qualification and Registration?
The College will add a degree to your Certificate of Qualification and Registration upon receiving an official transcript sent directly from the granting institution showing degree conferral. In Ontario, a degree must be granted by an authorized postsecondary educational institution or by approval under the Post-secondary Education Choice and Excellence Act.
In other Canadian provinces and territories, degrees must be granted by postsecondary educational institutions having degree granting rights under an Act of the Assembly and determined by the College as equivalent to an Ontario degree. The College recognizes degrees granted by postsecondary educational institutions in the United States accredited by one of six accrediting associations. Degrees granted outside North America must be granted by accredited postsecondary educational institutions and found acceptable by the College.
