What will happen if my membership fee is not paid by April 15?
If payment is not received and processed by April 15
your membership with the College will be suspended for non-payment of fees
This means you will lose the right to teach in a publicly funded school in Ontario and your Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) status.
To teach in a publicly funded school in Ontario, you must be a member in good standing with the College.
To reinstate your membership, you will have to pay a $130 reinstatement fee, in addition to the annual fee of $150.
