Marilyn Laframboise, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m. and welcomed all present.

That the Agenda for the December 2, 2004 Special Meeting of Council be approved.

3.1 Nomination Committee Report — Elected Member Council Vacancy (GC20041202-168)

The report of the Nomination Committee was received. Pat Daly, a member of the Nomination Committee, spoke to the report and answered questions.

It was moved by Pat Daly, seconded by Iain Munro, and

CARRIED,

That Council appoint Jacques Tremblay to fill the French-Language Public Board — elementary or secondary position vacancy on Council.
