Accreditation Review Schedule for Initial Teacher Education (Pre-service) Programs
The College regularly reviews programs of professional education in Ontario to ensure that they meet regulatory requirements for accreditation.
The legislation governing the accreditation of teacher education programs requires accreditation panels to provide an opportunity for the public to make submissions related to the quality of the program.
The College publishes upcoming accreditation reviews to ensure an opportunity for public input related to program quality. Members of the public may make submissions to accreditation@oct.ca by the deadline indicated. Your comments should include your name, contact information and any relationship you may have to the program. The accreditation panel will consider your submission as part of the review process. Participants will be contacted if additional information is required.
Please note that your submission, including your name and relationship to the program, will be provided to the accreditation panel reviewing the program, and may also be included in an accreditation report shared with the institution.
