To commemorate 20 years of self-regulation in the public interest, the College is planning a number of events and activities. For example, the College is participating in the 2017 Doors Open Toronto, a free annual event. Come take a tour of our building May 27-28.

Enhancing student protection in the public interest
The Protecting Students Act, passed in December, resulted in various changes to the discipline process. Reinstatement hearings, for example, will now be public unless the first hearing related to a specific case was closed to the public or if there are exceptional circumstances that require a closed hearing.

Council makes election process easier
At its March meeting, Council approved changes to regulation that will make the election and nomination process for Council much easier for future elections. Most notably, these changes will mean a streamlined ballot allowing members to vote for candidates in the regions where they work.
