New Additional Qualifications For College Members
College members told us during the teachers' qualifications review that teachers need new Additional Qualification (AQ) courses that reflect developments in teaching methods and subject areas.
Schedule A
These new one-session courses are being added as teaching options at the Intermediate and Senior level.

Schedule B: Technological Studies Options
The names of Technological Studies courses will no longer be referred to as Advanced and Basic and will change to coincide with grade levels, but there are no changes to course content.
The new technological studies qualifications will be added as of May 31, 2009:

These three-session courses are being added for teachers at all levels. Over three courses, participants will develop the skills and knowledge to design, deliver and assess programs and develop leadership skills within the topic area.

Schedule E
These new one-session courses are being added to provide an Honour Specialist Qualification that will develop the capacity for curriculum leadership. Participants will need a strong knowledge base of the subject area and at least two years of successful teaching experience in the subject area.
